Jacques Clouteau travels with his donkey Ferdinand King of Aragon. This is a beautiful book and just pulled me into the pages to walk beside him and pet Ferdinand.
His view on the Camino and the people living along it, is not always favourable but I suppose it may be more honest than some reviews I've read where everything is all rainbows and sunshine.
Anyway, I really recommend this book, it's interesting, fun and different. I got my copy on amazon.fr
